Mountain Laurel Chalets has been granted the opportunity to serve people for over thirty years. Celebrate with us as we remember how it was, and how Gatlinburg has come to be in the 21st Century.

Dot and Ralph Egli started out on famous Ski Mountain Road where they are still located today.  The first office was moved nearly 15 years ago to make room for the newer office that was equipped to handle their growing inventory of rental homes.

If you have ever stayed in Rippling Waters, you have experienced history, as Rippling Waters was the first office for Mountain Laurel Chalets.

"Take a look at our first brochure" says Marketing Director, Kay King. "Few people know that Jim Gray - the now famous Smoky Mountain Artist did our first home sketches.   He was just trying to get his start at the same time we were!"

"Our homes haven't changed all that much over the years in many ways, but then in others they have! Our homes are all located in the Ski Mountain - Chalet Village area of Gatlinburg.  It's the place everyone wants to be!  Through the years, updated colors and technology have lead to many decorating changes and additions of pool tables and DVD players but the homes still have the mountain charm people are looking for when they travel to Gatlinburg, Tennessee."

"We've had some challenges over the years," adds Ralph Egli - owner, "No one will ever forget the blizzard of 1993, but snow has also been part of the fun and certainly a magical event for our guests!"
